The Piccadilly is one of Fred's London Collection, inspired by the place we like to call home, and is derived from some of the most famous location around this great capital of Great Britain.

History

Piccadilly (Blue)

Believed to originate from the 17th century grilled collar named Piccadilly that made and sold by a tailor named Roger Baker. Piccadilly’s most renowned establishment The Ritz Hotel which opened in 1906, it became popular towards the end of the World War One by politicians, notably David Lloyd George, socialist, writers and actors of the day. Piccadilly is also home to Fortnum and Masons store, that opened its doors in 1707 by William Fortnum who was a footman in the Royal household of Queen Anne and his associate Hugh Mason. Piccadilly is also Latin for circle “watch your wheels go round” and one of the longest straightest roads in London.
